Tavistock Square Memorial Stone
In 1994 a Stone was dedicated in Tavistock Square, Bloomsbury, London, to “Men and Women Conscientious Objectors to Military Service All Over the World and in Every Age”.
Each year, on International Conscientious Objectors’ Day, 15 May, a list is read out of some 70 Conscientious Objectors, each representative of a different country, and a flower bearing the name and the country is laid for each.
